The US State Department admitted that contrary to previous claims, a video portraying a press briefing on nuclear talks with Iran from three years ago, was intentionally edited in order to conceal certain parts of the briefing, and that the edited portion was not removed, due to a technical malfunction.
The scandal broke when journalists discovered that a portion of the press briefing was removed from the State Department’s Youtube channel.
