A Pakistani teenager was reportedly tortured and burned alive after she turned down a marriage proposal, AFP reports.
A number of assailants set upon 19-year-old Maria Sadaqat on Monday. Her uncle explained that "She was badly tortured and then burned alive. We brought her to hospital in Islamabad but she succumbed to her wounds today."
Sadaqat managed to give a report to police before dying. She named five people, one of whom has already been arrested.
