Housing Minister Yoav Galant (Kulanu) said during a meeting with Jewish leaders in New York last week that the Israeli government’s policy is against construction in Judea and Samaria, Haaretz reports.
Galant was asked several times about construction in Judea and Samaria and reportedly answered that “I implement the government’s policies, according to which, we do not build in Judea and Samaria. But I am not the only one who is able to build. There are private people who build and some other members of the government who act according to instructions given by other ministers.”
