MK Ayelet Nahmias-Verbin (Zionist Union) took part in a meeting on the subject of Israel’s government-funded daycares.
“It is the State’s responsibility to form a three-year plan to strengthen the daycares, with respect to the children’s security as well as the caregivers’ ability to ‘survive’ within the system,” she said, adding that the current daycare system is currently one of the causes of the high cost of living, not a solution.
