The European Commission intends to levy a €3 billion ($3.4 billion US) fine against Google sometime in the next few weeks, the Sunday Telegraph reports.
According to the European Union, Google unfairly promotes its own shopping service in its searches, while downplaying other companies. The case has been building since 2010.
Inside sources say that the bill to enact the fine is in its final stages.
