Science Minister Ophir Akunis (Likud) will take off for a trip to the United States tonight (Sunday). While there, he will advocate for Israel along the East Coast.
"I'm leaving for an advocacy trip to the US in order to stand for the truth and set the record straight. I intend to fight off all the nasty lies being spread by our enemies and those who wish ill upon us," he said.
"Their self-righteousness, tongue-lashings and fabrications will not change the most basic facts: By virtue of our natural and historical right, we have returned to our homeland and created a magnificent country."
