Dr. Dore Gold, the director of the Foreign Ministry, spoke with Norwegian Ambassador Jon Hanssen-Bauer today.
Dr. Gold thanked Norway for Foreign Minister Børge Brende's insistence that his country will not allow its money to end up in convicted Palestinian terrorists' bank accounts.
Gold noted that Israel still supports the Palestinian Authority, but not when the PA encourages terrorism. "It is outrageous that killing Israelis has become a source of income for many in the PA. This completely contradicts what peace is all about. These payments incentivize terrorism and must be stopped," he said.
