A spokesperson for President Vladimir Putin has dismissed claims that Russia approved its athletes' use of performance enhancing drugs during the 2014 Olympic Games in Sochi.
The spokesperson said that the accusations are nothing more than "a turncoat's libel," Associated Press reports.
The International Olympic Committee has been cracking down on doping, and a number of Russian athletes have since been caught.
