El-Sisi, Abbas meet in Cairo on an ‘end to the settlements’

Egyptian President Abdel Fatah el-Sisi met in Cairo with Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas. During the meeting, el-Sisi told Abbas that Egypt will continue in its efforts to bring about the establishment of a “Palestinian State.”

A statement issued by the President’s offices in Egypt added that the two agreed that there is a need to bring an end to the “settlements.”
