Russia and the US announced on Monday that they are committed to stopping the acts of hostilities in Syria, and said that they will “redouble” their efforts towards reaching a political solution to the conflict in the country, Russian news agencies report.
Washington and Moscow additionally demanded that all of the sides in Syria stop the attacks against civilians and civil structures.
