The new Civics textbook to be studied by Israeli students revealed on Monday will not contain a section on the gaps between Ashkenazi and Sephardic Jews in Israel, as opposed to its earlier version.
The 514-page textbook tackles subjects such as the establishment of the State of Israel, the separation of authorities, challenges to democracy and more.
