Women of the Wall are conducting a "priestly blessing" at the Kotel today (Monday), even though Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit put out an order banning the event.
Channel 2 reports that a number of women are gathered with outstretched arms and tallits over their heads, as they make the blessing.
Dozens of Women of the Wall activists take part in prayers at the Kotel each month. They are notable for brazenly wearing tallits and tefillin, in contravention of tradition and the norms at the site.
