Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon responded on Thursday to statements made by Deputy IDF Chief-of-Staff Yair Golan. Golan hinted that Nazi Germany was comparable to what may happen in Israel in the future.
“I have full faith in the Deputy Chief-of-Staff… The attacks against him in light of a distorted understanding of what he said… is another attempt to politically harm the IDF and its officers. We had better not let that happen.”
