The European Union is asking its member countries to allow Turkish citizens to enter without the need for visas, Reuters reports. In exchange, though, it insists that Turkey must change some of its laws.
The European Parliament says that the changes could come into effect within the next two months, as long as Turkey meets its demands. There will be no "free ride," European legislators warned.
The demands include limiting what it considers terrorism and other concerns.
