The Sha'ar Hanegev Council has published an announcement to local residents, following the escalations along the Gaza border.
"Over the past few days, the IDF has been working against tunnels near Nahal Oz," the announcement read. "This has lead to local clashes with Hamas. In principle, there is no Israeli interest in escalation. For the present, outside of certain traffic restrictions around Nahal Oz, there are no changes in the security guidelines."
