The head of the Knesset's Education Committee, MK Ya'akov Margi (Shas) has appealed to the National Student and Youth Council, asking the body to temporarily cease their protest in order to commemorate Holocaust Memorial Day in the educational system.
MK Margi is supported by the Communal Parents' Associations' Forum.
In addition, he asked Education Minister Naftali Bennett (Jewish Home) and Transport Minister Yisrael Katz (Likud) to immediately intervene and bring the conflict to a close.
