The authorities in Canada instructed roughly 100 thousand residents of the northern Alberta city of Fort McMurray to evacuate their homes, due to a forest fire in the region. One of the entrances into the city was blocked off.
Sources within the Province of Alberta said that they asked for the government’s help in order to fly the locals out of the city.
