Yosef Haim Ben-David, who was convicted of abducting and murdering Palestinian Arab youth Mohammed Abu Khdeir, expressed regret for his actions during a Jerusalem district court hearing.
Ben-David told the judges that “I have always viewed the human image and respect for the dead as holy. This is not my nature and I am not that kind of a person. I apologize to the family for everything that happened. I would like to ask for forgiveness.”
