As of today (Sunday), the Police Department will hand out 250 shekel fines to bicycle riders who travel along sidewalks intended for pedestrians.
The fines will be handed out in Tel Aviv to those who ride bicycles and electric bikes on sidewalks, instead of on clearly marked bicycle paths.
