The Kinneret authorities have announced that eight beaches are overcrowded, and new visitors will not be allowed to enter. The beaches in question are Lebanon, Kursi, Berniki, Amnon, Tzinbari, Tzelon, Halukim and Shikmim.
Hukuk, Dugit and Shazif beaches are still open.
The Kinneret is also known as the Sea of Galilee.
