Rabbi Daniel Beller, the head of Ra'anana's Shivtei Yisrael synagogue, has died of cancer at the age of 53. He was laid to rest this morning (Friday).
Rabbi Beller, who was born and raised in Great Britain, received his smicha in Israel and served as a rabbi in South Africa for several years.
He also taught at the Orot Seminary in Elkana.
