The two US men who are on trial for planning to behead police officers in Massachusetts are now facing the additional charge of conspiracy to commit acts of terrorism transcending national boundaries, Reuters reports.
Prosecutors claim that 26-year-old David Write and 25-year-old Nicholas Rovinski were instructed by an ISIS computer expert. They add that Rovinski is still trying to promote ISIS while in jail by encouraging other prisoners to "decapitate non-believers" and revolt against the US government.
The trial for the pair is scheduled to begin next February.
