MK Yitzhak Herzog claimed on Tuesday afternoon that the rally scheduled to take place this evening in support of the soldier who shot a terrorist in Hevon, is likely to hurt the IDF and its soldiers.
“Whoever attends this rally is attending an extreme rightwing protest meant to weaken the IDF’s values. There is a reason that no MKs will attend the event… We are all united in the belief that one must not weaken the IDF and must not drag the IDF into a political debate on the streets of Israel,” Herzog said.
