Yesh Atid head Yair Lapid has commented on the discovery of new tunnels near Gaza.
"The IDF and security forces prevented a serious disaster and I want to encourage their bold actions," he said. "It's important to remember and to remind the world that the tunnel had one purpose - to murder innocent children and women inside of Israel."
"The UN Security Council and the international community must understand that the tunnels pose a serious threat, just like rockets and terror attacks. The world must support any response Israel makes against the tunnel threat, as it is a ground invasion of the State of Israel."
