Defense Minister Moshe Ya'alon (Likud) has commented on the newly-discovered tunnels near Gaza.
"The uncovering of Hamas tunnels near the Gaza Strip by the IDF and the security system is an important operational achievement, and the result of extended efforts by the State of Israel over the past few years," he said.
"We have no fantasies about Hamas's intentions. Before, during and after Operation Protective Edge, we have dedicated considerable efforts - technological, intelligence and operational - to finding tunnels in Gaza."
