President Reuven Rivlin officially sold the chametz in the President's residence, as part of the preparations for Pesach. President Rivlin made the sale with the assistance of Rabbi Shlomo Moshe Amar, the Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Jerusalem.
The President and the Chief Rabbi also discussed the halacha involved in selling chametz and its meaning.
