LGBTQ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transexual, Questioning) organizations are threatening to cancel the Pride Parade in Tel Aviv, due to the government’s treatment of the community, after the Tourism Minstry declared that it would invest 11 million shekels into a campaign geared towards bringing LGBTQ tourists to Israel.
According to representatives of the organizations, there is a gap between investments into the campaign and investment into existing problems within the Israeli LGBTQ community.
