A district court in Jerusalem rejected the prosecution’s request to sentence a youth convicted of committing a racially-motivated attempted assault and desecrating property.

The charges indicate that the youth was linked to a “price tag” event following the abduction of Naftali Frenkel, Eyal Yifrah and Gilad Shaar.

The presiding judge rejected the prosecution’s demands to send the youth to jail and sentenced him to two months in prison (which he already served) and four months of community service.
