Polish prosecutors are considering filing charges against a Polish-American professor for allegedly insulting the country, Associated Press reports.

Professor Jan Tomasz Gross of Princeton wrote an article in which he said that more Jews were killed by Poles than by Germans between 1939 and 1945.

Gross claims that he underwent five hours of questioning while he was in Katowice. In addition, Polish President Andrzej Duda is considering rescinding a state honor that was given to Gross in 1996.
