The soldiers who burned a PLO flag today (Wednesday) have been court martialed and received their sentences.
One soldier is to be confined to his base for the next 28 days, while the commander who oversaw the incident has been removed from his position and will serve 20 days in a military prison.
Commenting on the event, the IDF Spokesperson Unit says that "the force acted in contradiction with what is expected of it and against commanders' instructions."
