As of May 2nd, trucks and heavy vehicles will be banned from driving along southern roads that lead to Gaza during morning and afternoon rush hour, in order to increase drivers’ and local residents’ safety, Transport Minister Yisrael Katz said on Wednesday.
According to the decision, trucks and heavy vehicles (over 12 tons) will not be allowed to travel along central roads towards the Kerem Shalom Border Crossing between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
