Interior Minister Aryeh Deri said on Tuesday night that “I am going through tough times, but today I felt great satisfaction and honor to hold the 7th Negev Conference in Yerucham.”
“I was excited to meet the sons and daughters of the Negev, to see the glimmer in their eyes and the pride they felt while talking about the Negev. I was happy to hear about the challenges, the social activity, the business initiatives and hopes for the future. There is no doubt that young and impressive leadership is sprouting in the Negev.”
