Interior Minister Aryeh Deri instructed local authorities to open some of Israel’s beaches before the official start of bathing season, ahead of the upcoming Passover holiday.
“I decided to open 45 beaches as of the 22nd of April, during the Passover holiday, in order to enable safe swimming, which will be for free as of this year.”
