Justice Minister Ayelet Shaked on Sunday evening ordered to issue an immediate injunction that would require prosecutors to stop their strike, which they launched due to their opposition of the new body in charge of overseeing the prosecution.
“I am sorry that the prosecutors decided not to heed our request to end the strike, despite the efforts invested in discussions on the subject. The strike is not justified and unfounded, and is bringing great harm to the public and the state, which we cannot accept,” said Shaked.
