Thousands of demonstrators gathered in the capital of Malta to demand that Prime Minister Joseph Muscat resign, Reuters reports.
"Shame on you, you are shaming Malta, you have lost the moral authority to govern," said opposition head Simon Busuttil.
The recently leaked "Panama papers" included records of offshore accounts held by two of Muscat's close allies. Last Wednesday, Muscat said he will decide what to do with them once he has all the facts.
