The government unanimously approved on Sunday of a plan led by Minister of Internal Security Gilad Erdan to ameliorate law enforcement and levels of personal security within the Arab sector, as well as to strengthen security in the Jerusalem district.
According to Erdan, “This is a historic decision that will finally create equality within the law enforcement services, between Jewish and Arab communities, and will lead to a significant strengthening of Jerusalem’s security and law enforcement within the Arab sector. This is a revolution that will promote security and equality.”
