MK Michal Rozin (Meretz) has bashed the government's intention to provide 40 million shekels ($10.6 million US) in support for Judea and Samaria
"Only a week ago, in the dead of night, the government suddenly approved approved a tax relief for settlement residents and now it adds tens of millions more in an 'assistance program' to Judea and Samaria," she said. "This is taking advantage of a difficult security situation in order to continue the creeping annexation of occupied territory."
MK Rozin added that the issue involves "a political budget that proves to the world that the Israeli government's hand is not extended for peace, but rather to complete half a century of occupying the Palestinian territories and people."
