The Panamanian law firm that was the subject of a high-profile leak says that the business was hacked from outside, Reuters reports.

Ramon Fonseca, one of Mossack Fonseca's founders, says that he has filed a complaint with government prosecutors. He continues to insist that the firm's methods were completely legal and that their actions were "taken out of context."

"We rule out an inside job. This is not a leak. This is a hack," he said.
