A member of Qatar's royal family has been freed from captivity in Iraq, along with a Pakistani man, AFP reports.
The two were part of a group of more than 20 who were kidnapped near the border with Saudi Arabia in December.
An official Qatari statement read that "Efforts are still ongoing to free the rest of the 26 kidnapped."
There is no information on how today's (Wednesday) release was achieved, though it may have involved ransom money.
