“Islamic State” (ISIS) terrorists concealed thousands of land mines in Syria’s Palmyra prior to retreating from the ancient city, which the terrorists “Planned to detonate once the Syrian military forces entered the area,” a source within the Syrian Army told Reuters.
According to the source, over 3,000 landmines have already been neutralized.
