Senior Egyptian intelligence officials recently asked the Hamas envoy to Cairo to reveal information about Israeli soldiers who went missing during 2014’s Operation Protective Edge in Gaza, the London-based Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper reports.
Egyptian and PA sources quoted by the newspaper claimed that the Egyptian request was part of negotiations aimed at ameliorating relations between the sides.
