MK Tzipi Livni (Zionist Union) on Friday blasted Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu over his insistence on appointing Ran Baratz as head of Israel’s public diplomacy policy.
“Barat’z appointment may be good for Netanyahu but bad for Israel,” Livni tweeted, adding, “Another ‘diplomatic terrorist attack’ targeting a strategic alliance. The problem is not with the speaker, but with the policies and the absence of discretion in the appointment.”
