The official Saudi al-Arabiya channel has closed its Lebanese office, Reuters reports. All 27 employees have been fired.
The move results from growing tension between the two countries. After Beirut refused to condemn the attack on the Saudi embassy in Tehran, Riyadh cut its military aid to Lebanon by $3 billion.
Saudi Arabia accused Lebanon of being controlled by Hezbollah, the Shi'ite terror group that is supported by Iran.
