A 29-year-old man from the US is starting a new job as a full-time ninja in Japan, AFP reports.
Chris O'Neill will be working in the central Aichi prefecture, which is using "ninjas" to increase its tourism. The wanted ad noted that people from any nationality could try out for the six positions.
Eighty-five percent of the applicants turned out to be foreigners, but O'Neill was the only non-Japanese candidate to be accepted. He did so well, in fact, that they made an extra position just for him.
