A UK court has sentenced a 16-year-old to nine years in jail for killing a fellow student, BBC reports.
The convict, whose name cannot be released by British law, was found guilty of culpable homicide for stabbing Bailey Gwynne. This is a lesser charge than murder.
The judge told him, "If you had not carried a knife the exchange of insults would have led at worst to a fist fight."
