A new study, published in The Lancet, has found that more adults are obese than underweight.
The study was carried out by researchers from Imperial College London, who compared the body mass index (BMI) of about 20 million men and women from 186 countries, between 1975 and 2014.
The results showed that the rate of obesity has tripled for men and doubled for women in the time frame. At the same time, the number of people who are underweight rose at a much slower rate.
