Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein on Thursday evening sent a special greeting to Ukraine's chief rabbi, Rabbi Moshe Asman, who is celebrating his 50th birthday in a celebration attended by Knesset members, MPs from Ukraine, diplomats and Jewish community leaders.
"I want to congratulate you, Rabbi Asman, for your 50th birthday. You have been dealing with the needs of the community from a young age, and I'm sure that in the coming 70 years you will continue to work for the people of Israel," Edelstein said.
