The Supreme Court has ruled that people who convert through alternative rabbinical courts still qualify for receiving Israeli citizenship as Jews.
MK Bezalel Smotrich (Jewish Home) says that he will submit a bill to get around the ruling.
"Once again, the Supreme Court is interfering in sensitive policies and does not leave legislators any choice but to correct the distortion through legislation," he said.
