MKs Nissan Slomiansky and Yair Lapid filed on Tuesday an amendment to a law on the permitted duration of police and prosecution’s investigations. The proposed bill seeks to have investigations end once charges are filed.
The MKs made it clear that the goal of the law is to reduce harm sometimes caused to innocent citizens.
