President of the Supreme Court, Justice Miriam Naor, declared on Tuesday that she is not excited by the criticism made against the Supreme Court following the annulment of the gas deal.

“Strong and harsh voices have recently sounded against the Supreme Court and its justices following a ruling… As I have previously stated on numerous occasions, constructive criticism on a ruling is legitimate, but painfully, some of the things we heard had nothing to do with the ruling. Some of the things that were heard, including from sources within the legislative authority, are not fitting of a Jewish and democratic state that honors the legal ruling powers and the independence of the presiding authority, the court will continue along its path, without fear and without bias.”
